Following the recent demerger of our investment business from the development company, we are delighted to announce some new directorships at Whiteburn.
Eve McCurrich has been made a director of operating company Whiteburn Projects. Eve has proved her mettle with the successful delivery of our award winning Parkview residential development in Dundee. Through her experience working in the housebuilding sector we’re now establishing a pipeline of listed building conversions and new build residential projects across east Scotland.
Both Eve and David Kilgour (a director of Whiteburn Projects for the last 5 years) have also accepted directorships of Whiteburn Holdings, the group’s asset holding company.
During this year, under David’s direction, Whiteburn have successfully completed the refurbishment of former RBS office building 100 West George Street in Glasgow and submitted a planning application for The Still, a new 10,000m2 office building behind a preserved Victorian corner facade on Glasgow’s Waterloo Street.
CEO John Shepherd said “We’ve consolidated the Whiteburn business to suit our core strengths and are now looking to build on those skills to take forward some really exciting opportunities. One of these is the establishment of our VOX- branded build to rent model, on which we achieved our first planning consent at the former Dundee College last year.”
