Following last year’s restructuring, we’re now delighted to announce that Dale Strachan has agreed to join the Whiteburn board as a non-executive Director.
Dale is a former commercial property partner of Brodies and is well acquainted with the Whiteburn team, having acted on the SoCo project in particular – one of the more complex site assemblies undertaken in the Old Town.
He brings a wealth of property, legal and negotiating experience to the Whiteburn board, having been steeped in some of the largest and most complex commercial transactions on both sides of the border, for such clients as Telereal, Morgan Stanley, British Steel/Corus/Tata/Ravenscraig Limited, Land Securities Trillium and the Shetland Islands Council.
Dale remains a member of the Law Society of Scotland and a Writer to the Signet, as well as a member (and former Secretary) of the Anglo-American Real Property Institute, which actively engages in sharing best practice and values in real estate matters on both sides of the Atlantic.
CEO John Shepherd said “We’re expanding the Whiteburn development business now across residential and commercial platforms, so it’s crucial we bring on board the very best of mentors and advisors. Dale absolutely fits that brief and will help us to keep focused on the big picture.”
