Another former brewery building on the Holyrood North regeneration site, this was also boarded up and full of pigeons when Whiteburn purchased it during construction of The Tun.
We gained consent for a restaurant with a loft apartment above it (with an amazing terrace looking up to the Crags) and carefully renovated the building, incorporating a double height glass box opening onto a landscaped piazza.
The restaurant is let to our good friends Pizza Express, making a great eating and meeting venue just yards from Scotland's Parliament, and the loft is so cool we kept it for Whiteburn’s office!
