Whiteburn are delighted to be sponsoring Marc Brew Company’s Brew Band production, touring the UK during 2017.    http://www.marcbrew.com/

BREWBAND is Scotland’s new super band, created by award winning disabled dancer/choreographer Marc Brew. The piece blurs boundaries and challenge people’s perception of identity.

Bringing together top Scottish indie rock artists Graeme Smillie (Unwinding Hours, The Vaselines, Emma Pollock, A Mote Of Dust), Jill O’Sullivan (BDY_PRTS, Sparrow And The Workshop), Peter Kelly (Galchen/The Kills/ Jonnie Common) with talented dancer/musicians Martyn Garside (San Francisco Ballet), Marta Masiero (Van Huynh Company) and Alice Sheppard (AXIS Dance Company), the work is explosive and memorable.

Touring around the UK, there is also a parallel education project with local communities, especially young disabled people and LGTB young people, which uses the same creative process to create an opener for the shows.

BREWBAND hopes to inspire a new generation, giving participants routes into the arts and celebrating Scotland’s role in delivering high quality inclusive art to the world.
