New Chairman at Whiteburn
We are delighted to confirm that Dale Strachan has accepted the role of Chairman of Whiteburn Holdings. Dale joined the Whiteburn Board as a Non-Executive Director in March 2017 and has provided excellent guidance to the management team through a period of strategic growth.
A former partner of Brodies LLP, until retirement from professional practice in 2013, Dale was ranked ‘Band 1’ for Commercial Property in Scotland by Chambers & Partners UK Lawyer Ranking Guide. He has given evidence on proposals to reform landlord & tenant law on two occasions to the Justice Committee of the Scottish Parliament, and was co-author/contributor to various text books on Scottish commercial property law and practice.
Dale says that he “looks forward to supporting the highly motivated and talented team at Whiteburn in their efforts to harness opportunities in the commercial and residential property markets, including the successful delivery of their exciting VOX Build-to-Rent offering.”
Now semi-retired, Dale finds time to indulge his passions for travel, fly fishing, skiing, tennis and, most recently, competitive motorsport in a classic Triumph TR6.
