Constructing new build homes across Scotland

Whiteburn has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Show Home of the Year category of the prestigious Scottish Home Awards 2023 for its impressive four bedroom detached Oliphant show home which was launched recently at our Viewforth development in Kirkcaldy.

The team is thrilled to have made the final stages in this national competition, as Whiteburn’s Managing Director, Eve McCurrich adds: “It’s great to be shortlisted in such a prestigious category in this year’s Scottish Home Awards.

“Our Oliphant show home at our Viewforth development in Kirkcaldy has sustainable living at its heart, and it aims to show prospective buyers that living in a new home can equally balance old and new.

“Being shortlisted as a finalist in the Show Home of the Year category puts our development on the map, and it reflects months of hard work by the team to bring to life the lifestyle that Viewforth offers buyers.  We couldn’t be prouder of being recognised in this way, and we will be sharing this news with our homeowners at Viewforth, and we know they’ll be just as happy as we are.

“We’ve been thrilled by the reaction that we have seen from prospective buyers who have come to see our show home since we opened it just a few weeks ago, and I am delighted that as more homeowners move in that we can see our vision for the site becoming a reality.  We look forward to the final stage of the competition next month, and we wish all shortlisted finalists the very best of luck in all categories.”

Aldermore has provided a development finance loan for phase one of Viewforth.   The development is a joint venture between Whiteburn Group and the Housing Growth Partnership (HGP).

David Whitehouse, Property Development Manager at Aldermore adds: “Aldermore is delighted to be supporting the team at Whiteburn with the development at Viewforth. Having viewed the show home first hand, hearing that Whiteburn has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Show Home of the Year is no surprise and well earned. The thought and care in selecting furnishings with local connections is a nice finishing touch.”

Viewforth offers 72 new two, three and four bedroom homes and 15 affordable homes on the grounds of the former Viewforth High School, on Loughborough Road, Kirkcaldy.

The development enjoys the most incredible views towards the Firth of Forth and is a short walk from Ravenscraig Park and the historic Dysart Harbour.

This impressive development of new homes is proving popular with a wide range of buyers, and demand is strong.  Its current availability includes two-bedroom cottage flats from £175,000 and a choice of three and four bedroom homes starting from £237,500.
